Aston Villa look determined to sign Arsenal star Emile Smith-Rowe and are set to return with a third bid for the player in less than two weeks after having their opening two bids turned down by the Gunners. Aston Villa manager Dean Smith is a huge admirer of the talented 20-year-old and has made it clear that he wants to complete a deal for him this summer, and that’s why they are preparing to return with a third bid for him. Smith-Rowe is also not making matters any easier for Arsenal and has been reluctant to put pen to paper on a new deal recently, giving the Villans the green light to table another official bid for him in the coming days.
The second bid Villa tables for Smith-Rowe was said to be around £30 million as Arsenal have continued to maintain their stance that the player is not for sale. However, the Villans are still interested in testing the Gunners’ resolve and believe that if they are able to send in the right offer, they will be able to get their man.
Aston Villa have already completed the signing of former Arsenal target Emiliano Buendia and now want to snatch Smith-Rowe away from the Emirates Stadium in the coming days. It remains to be seen if Arsenal will accept the third bid or maintain their stance.
